3. Post-hole punching may be necessary if you have not used lead wires before or if there is a existing hole in your wall where you would like your led lights to go.
If post-hole punching is required, please follow these steps:
1) Take off any protective film that is covering both ends of your LED strips (it should just fall off like this). 2) Take a drill bit and make small holes into both ends of your LED strips, about 1/8 inch wide x 1/4 inch deep.
3) Now add some beeswax or other heat resistant material between each hole and screw them down into place (you can use a hammer if needed)! You may need to do this in two stages, as some holes will already be drilled but some will not have wax added yet: first add enough wax until it covers all those smallholes, then screw everything down! Make sure not to screw too hard as this could damage the LEDs! 4) Put another layer of paper over top (you don’t want any liquid wax getting inside), turn off your oven, and wait for it to cool completely before trying again! If everything goes well, you will now have custom led lights!
